data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-wahfont=\"16\"><strong>The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek engages in a wide range of international cooperation activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-wahfont=\"16\">\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb<\/span> since 2022, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek has participated in the organisation and implementation of the international Bovec Summer School together with Alpen-Adria-Universit\u00e4t Klagenfurt, the University of Ljubljana, the University of Primorska in Koper, the University of Rijeka, the University of Trieste and the University of Udine.<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb<\/span> cooperation based on bilateral agreements on scientific and teaching cooperation with foreign higher education institutions<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>international professional and scientific projects<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>participation in international networks of related institutions<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>organisation of international conferences, seminars and summer schools<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>participation in international conferences, seminars and summer schools organised by other stakeholders<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>involvement of external associates and invited lecturers from abroad in teaching at all levels of study<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>external teaching engagements of Faculty staff at foreign institutions<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>individual cooperation between Faculty staff and foreign institutions<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>participation in scholarship programmes for incoming and outgoing international mobility (<em>Fulbright\/Humphrey, Fulbright Senior Specialist, Fulbright Predoctoral, Junior Faculty Development Programme, DAAD, \u00d6AAD, ERASMUS, Erasmus Mundus, JoinEUSee, Grundtvig, EILC, Youth in Action, <\/em>scholarships of the Ministry of Science and Education of Hungary and the <em>Balassi B\u00e1lint<\/em> Institute in cooperation with <em>M\u00e1rton \u00c1ron Szakkoll\u00e9gium<\/em> for members of the Hungarian national minority, <em>Otto Bennemann<\/em> scholarships, student scholarships of the University of Augsburg, etc.).<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>co-publishing journals in cooperation with institutions abroad (<em>ExEll<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>involvement of international reviewers and guest editors in the editorial and scientific boards of journals published by the Faculty (<em>Jezikoslovlje, Libellarium, Anafora, Povijesni zbornik<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>participation of Faculty staff in the editorial and scientific boards of international journals and conferences<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>membership of Faculty staff in international professional and scientific associations<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>membership of Faculty staff in international <em>alumni<\/em> associations (<em>Chevening Alumni Hrvatska CAH, Croatian Fulbright Alumni, U.S. Alumni Community of Croatia (USACC)<\/em>, <em>Alumniportal Deutschland<\/em>).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-wahfont=\"16\">A significant portion of these activities is carried out through the individual memberships of Faculty employees in scientific and professional associations that promote interests related to the social sciences and humanities in their respective fields. Through these memberships, the Faculty indirectly contributes to the achievement of scientific, professional and other objectives that are also important to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek. Such associations include, for example, Societas Linguisticae Europae, European Society for Studies in English (ESSE), International Cognitive Linguistics Association, Croatian-American Society (HAD\/CAS), Fulbright Association, U.S. Alumni Community of Croatia (USACC), Croatian-Canadian Academic Society (HKAD), Central European Association for Canadian Studies (CEACS), EUROPHRAS, European Society for Translation Studies (EST), International Pragmatics Association, European Second Language Association (EuroSLA), International Association of Paremiology (AIP-IAP), Nemzetk\u00f6zi Folkl\u00f3rlingvisztikai Kutat\u00f3csoport (International Research Group for Folklore and Linguistics), European Society for Studies in English (ESSE), TESOL, GPIC (TESOL), International Reading Association, American Society for Information Science and Technology, S\u00fcdosteurop\u00e4ischer Germanistenverband (SOEGV), Mitteleurop\u00e4ischer Germanistenverband (MGV), and SCLA (Slavic Cognitive Linguistics Association).<\/p>\n<h2 data-wahpro-titles-style=\"\" data-wahfont=\"24\"><\/h2>\n<h2 data-wahpro-titles-style=\"text-align: center;\" data-wahfont=\"24\">Bilateral and Multilateral Cooperation Agreements<\/h2>\n<p data-wahpro-txt-style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-wahfont=\"16\">In addition to 34 bilateral Erasmus+ agreements regulating the international mobility of students, teaching staff and non-teaching staff, the Faculty has also signed other bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements:<\/p>\n<ul data-wahfont=\"16\">\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>Cooperation Agreement with the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Novi Sad, signed on 25 February 2010.<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>Cooperation Agreement with Deakin University, School of Psychology, Melbourne, signed on 10 January 2011.<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>Bilateral Cooperation Agreement between the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek and the Faculty of Humanities, University of P\u00e9cs, signed on 18 February 2011.<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>Cooperation Agreement with the University of Debrecen, Faculty of Child and Adult Education, signed on 15 April 2011.<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>Cooperation Agreement with the Faculty of Education in Sombor, University of Novi Sad, signed on 12 May 2011.<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>Consortium Agreement with 22 international partners for the implementation of the FP7 MIME project, signed in October 2013.<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>Agreement on joining the CEEPUS III Trans network of 10 European universities, signed in 2013.<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>Cooperation Agreement with the University of West Hungary, Szombathely, on the implementation of the joint project <em>Supporting the Development of Foreign Language Education at the University of West Hungary<\/em>, T\u00c1MOP 4.1.2.D-12\/1\/KONV-2012-0006, signed on 10 September 2012.<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>Memorandum of Understanding joined by 25 international partners for the application and implementation of COST Action IS1404: <em>Evolution of Reading in the Age of Digitisation (E-READ)<\/em>, signed on 14 May 2014.<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"\"><span data-wahfont=\"16\">\u00bb <\/span>Cooperation Agreement with Adam Mickiewicz University in Pozna\u0144, Poland, signed on 4 April 2001.<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"\">Memorandum of Understanding with Raffles University, Malaysia, signed on 1 September 2025.<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"\">Cooperation Agreement with the Institute for Danube Swabian History and Regional Studies, T\u00fcbingen, signed on 29 January 2025.<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"\">Cooperation Agreement with the Faculty of Philology, University of Donja Gorica (UDG), Podgorica, signed on 16 October 2023.<\/li>\n<li data-wahpro-txt-style=\"\">Agreement on Scientific and Professional Cooperation with the National Translation and Translation Certification Office Plc.
