The same procedure applies if a grade has been entered incorrectly in Studomat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What happens if I take an exam for which I have not registered?<\/strong><br \/>\nAny exam for which a valid registration has not been completed will be annulled.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What if I have not completed the medical examination?<\/strong><br \/>\nAll first-year undergraduate students are required to undergo a medical examination at the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zzjzosijek.hr\/index.php?page=sluzba-za-skolsku-medicinu\" rel=\"noopener\">Public Health Institute<\/a><\/strong> (School Medicine Service, Dolores Jureti\u0107-Kova\u010d, MD, specialist in school medicine; tel. 225 755). The examination schedule for each academic year will be available on the notice board or the website.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>What do I need to do to obtain health insurance?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Exercising rights and fulfilling obligations under compulsory health insurance. Pursuant to Article 6, paragraphs 13 and 13a of the Compulsory Health Insurance Act (Official Gazette Nos 150\/08, 94\/09, 153\/09, 71\/10, 139\/10, 49\/11 and 22\/12), the following persons are compulsorily insured and acquire insured-person status:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>secondary-school pupils and full-time students at higher education institutions who are Croatian citizens and have permanent or temporary residence in the Republic of Croatia, as well as foreign nationals with approved permanent residence in the Republic of Croatia, provided that they are not insured as family members of an insured person. This right may be exercised no later than the end of the school year in which they complete their full-time education;<\/li>\n<li>pupils and students enrolled in full-time education in accordance with the regulations governing full-time education in the Republic of Croatia, during practical classes, professional placements, study trips or work arranged through an intermediary providing employment services for pupils and students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A full-time student may acquire health-insured status as a family member by submitting a certified confirmation of full-time student status. This confirmation must be submitted to the parent&#8217;s employer by 31 October of the current year for each academic year. The student must obtain it from the Student Administration Office when enrolling in the same or a higher year of study.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Loss of insured-person status as a family member<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A student loses insured-person status as a family member in the following cases:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>when they lose full-time student status,<\/li>\n<li>when they still hold full-time student status but have reached the age of 26.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If a student loses full-time student status, they must observe the deadline for registering with the Croatian Health Insurance Fund (HZZO) in order to obtain health insurance on another basis. The deadline is 30 days from the date on which full-time student status is lost or from the date on which the student turns 26.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If a student does not enrol in the new academic year by the end of the regular enrolment period, that is, by 30 September of the current year, their insured-person status as a family member ends on that date, and the 30-day deadline for registering with the HZZO begins. Failure to comply with this deadline results in the loss of compulsory health insurance rights and an obligation to pay the compulsory health insurance contribution independently. Additional examination periods cannot extend this deadline.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The obligation to register with the HZZO within 30 days also applies in all other cases involving the loss of full-time student status.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After completing their studies, full-time students have 30 days from the date of graduation to register with the HZZO. They are then entitled to compulsory health insurance as unemployed persons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>What is the procedure after submitting a request to complete one\u2019s studies? <\/strong>Once the request to complete one\u2019s studies has been approved, the student will be notified electronically at the email address provided in the request. Proof of tuition fee payment must be submitted either in person to the Office for Students and Study Programmes or electronically to <strong><a href=\"mailto:mmlinarevic@ffos.hr\">mmlinarevic@ffos.hr<\/a><\/strong>. Exams may be registered for once the tuition fee has been paid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>How can I change the title of my final or graduate thesis? <\/strong>In agreement with the supervisor, the supervisor enters the new thesis title into the online application and notifies the head of the department, who approves it, and the Student Administration Office, which enters the new title into ISVU.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>How can I register my final thesis or graduate examination if no defence dates are available? <\/strong>You must announce the registration of your final thesis or graduate examination defence in person at the Student Administration Office after passing ALL exams. The Student Administration Office opens examination dates and completes the registration only for students who have passed all exams and submitted a Request for the Issuance of a Certificate of Completed Studies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>What is JMBAG? <\/strong>The JMBAG (<strong>U<\/strong>nique <strong>I<\/strong>dentification <strong>N<\/strong>umber of an <strong>A<\/strong>cademic <strong>C<\/strong>itizen) uniquely identifies each member of the academic community. It is important to note that, like the JMBG, the JMBAG does not contain any information about the academic citizen. Unlike the JMBG, the JMBAG is assigned upon enrolment at a higher education institution. The institution that first registers the academic citizen assigns that person a JMBAG. The person retains the same JMBAG for life, even when enrolling at another higher education institution or at several institutions simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The JMBAG consists of 10 digits:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The first four digits of the JMBAG identify the higher education institution that assigned it. Each higher education institution is uniquely identified by this number in the records of the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports.<\/li>\n<li>The final six digits form a sequentially assigned number that identifies the academic citizen within the higher education institution.
