After all, people spend more than half of their waking lives working. For this very reason, we can and should find satisfaction in our work. The first important step towards achieving this is to <strong>systematically plan our career development<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Career development is a process that shapes a person\u2019s professional identity. It is a significant part of human development and begins as soon as a person becomes aware of how people earn a living. Career development continues through exploring different occupations and career paths and deciding which career path to pursue. However, <strong>career development does not end there<\/strong> \u2013 a career is a lifelong professional journey. It is never too early, or too late, to start planning your career development.
