Student mobility may be undertaken in any field of study and at all levels of higher education (short-cycle, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral studies). To ensure that mobility has the greatest possible impact on the student\u2019s academic and personal development, mobility activities should be aligned with the learning outcomes of the study programme and the student\u2019s individual needs.<\/p>\n
Students may undertake a study period at a partner higher education institution abroad. The list of partner higher education institutions is available on the website and forms an integral part of every Erasmus+ call for applications. The study period must be an integral part of the study programme leading to a qualification at any level of study. A study period may also include a traineeship period, thereby combining the academic and professional experience acquired during the mobility.<\/p>\n
In the countries of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), one academic year of full-time study generally comprises educational activities with a total workload of 60 ECTS credits (or equivalent units outside the EHEA), while one semester of exchange comprises educational activities with a total workload of 30 ECTS credits (or equivalent units outside the EHEA). For shorter mobility periods, a proportional adjustment of the activities defined in the Learning Agreement is recommended.<\/p>\n
