Current calls can be followed <strong><span style=\"color: #b72026;\"><a style=\"color: #b72026;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ffos.unios.hr\/en\/erasmus\/outgoing-students\/erasmus-calls-for-applications\/\">here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"border: 1px solid #b22222; background: #fff5f5; border-radius: 8px; padding: 15px; margin-bottom: 25px;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is important to emphasise that the process begins with <strong>agreeing on courses with the relevant course instructors and ECTS coordinators<\/strong>, that is, selecting the courses you plan to attend at the foreign institution and which will be recognised upon your return.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is followed by <strong>an application for the Erasmus+ call<\/strong>. If the application is successful, the student undergoes a procedure known as <strong>nomination<\/strong>, in which Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek proposes, or nominates, the student to the selected foreign university.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once the nomination has been accepted, the student proceeds with the application to the foreign university, prepares the Learning Agreement and <strong>signs the grant agreement<\/strong> with the University.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"border: 1px solid #b22222; background: #fff5f5; border-radius: 8px; padding: 15px; margin-bottom: 25px;\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0px; text-align: justify;\"><strong>Important:<\/strong> before departing for mobility, the nomination, application to the foreign university, Learning Agreement, health insurance and documents required for the grant agreement must be completed in good time.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2 style=\"margin-top: 40px; color: #b22222;\">Steps Before Mobility<\/h2>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 20px;\">Clicking on each section below opens detailed instructions and additional information for the relevant step.<\/p>\n<details style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; border: 1px solid #ddd; border-radius: 8px; padding: 15px;\">\n<summary style=\"cursor: pointer; font-size: 18px; font-weight: 600; color: #b22222;\">1. Nomination and Application to the Foreign University<\/summary>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 15px;\">\n<p><strong>Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nFollowing a successful application for an Erasmus+ call, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek nominates the student to the foreign university. Once the nomination has been accepted, the student independently completes the application process in accordance with the rules of the foreign institution.<\/p>\n<details style=\"margin: 15px 0; border: 1px solid #ddd; border-radius: 6px; padding: 10px; background: #fafafa;\">\n<summary style=\"cursor: pointer; font-weight: 600; color: #b22222;\">Details<\/summary>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 10px;\">\n<p>Following a successful application for the call, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek will nominate the student to the foreign university specified in the application. If the nomination is accepted, the foreign university will send the student information about the application process. Students submit their applications independently.<\/p>\n<p>When selecting a university, the compatibility of courses between the home faculty and the faculty at which you plan to study is essential. Each university has its own rules and procedures, and confirmation of nominations may take up to one month.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to monitor application deadlines because each university has its own deadlines. Students will be informed of the outcome of their application by the foreign university.<\/p>\n<p>Nominations are mandatory for study mobility periods, and students cannot submit an application to a foreign university without prior nomination. Nominations for the winter semester are submitted in March and April, while nominations for the summer semester are submitted in September and October.<\/p>\n<p>Nominations are always submitted by the University Erasmus coordinator from the International Relations Office and not by anyone else.<\/p>\n<p>Once the foreign university has accepted you for mobility, it will send you a letter of acceptance. A copy must be submitted to the University International Relations Office together with the other documents required for preparing the grant agreement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n<details style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; border: 1px solid #ddd; border-radius: 8px; padding: 15px;\">\n<summary style=\"cursor: pointer; font-size: 18px; font-weight: 600; color: #b22222;\">2. Course Selection and Learning Agreement<\/summary>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 15px;\">\n<p><strong>Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nIn consultation with coordinators and course instructors, students agree on the courses they will attend at the foreign university and which will be recognised upon their return. The Learning Agreement is completed online and must contain all mandatory sections and signatures.<\/p>\n<details style=\"margin: 15px 0; border: 1px solid #ddd; border-radius: 6px; padding: 10px; background: #fafafa;\">\n<summary style=\"cursor: pointer; font-weight: 600; color: #b22222;\">Details<\/summary>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 10px;\">\n<p>In consultation with the coordinators and instructors of the courses you are attending during that semester, you agree on your obligations and options during the mobility period. Together, you identify the courses you will attend at the foreign university and which will be recognised when you return from mobility, and enter them in the Learning Agreement. Detailed instructions are available in the document <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ffos.unios.hr\/en\/erasmus\/outgoing-students\/erasmus-and-ffos\/\">ERASMUS and FFOS<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Completing the Learning Agreement:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Learning Agreement is completed online at: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.learning-agreement.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.learning-agreement.eu<\/a> (log in through MyAcademicID using your AAI@EduHr username and password).<\/p>\n<p>At the beginning of the document, first select the type of mobility you will be undertaking: long-term, short-term or doctoral mobility.<\/p>\n<p>You complete the Learning Agreement with the assistance of your Department\u2019s ECTS coordinator and the course instructors who approve the courses you have selected. The responsible person at the sending institution is the academic Erasmus coordinator of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, while the responsible person at the receiving institution is the coordinator at the foreign faculty. Their names and contact details must be entered under the relevant categories when completing the document.<\/p>\n<p>Since the Learning Agreement must be reviewed by the coordinators and each course must be discussed separately with the relevant instructor to determine whether the course attended at the foreign institution will be recognised, the Learning Agreement should be sent to the coordinators in advance, rather than on the final day, to allow sufficient time for review and signatures.<\/p>\n<p>The entire <em>Before the mobility<\/em> section of the Learning Agreement must be completed and must contain three signatures. The \u201cRecognition at the Sending Institution\u201d section (Table B) is mandatory so that the courses to be recognised at the home faculty can be specified.<\/p>\n<p>Table A contains information about the courses you will attend at the foreign university, while Table B contains information about the courses that will be recognised as completed at the home university upon your return from mobility.<\/p>\n<p>The academic year in which the mobility takes place must also be specified, as well as each course code together with its title.<\/p>\n<p>For questions concerning the administrative part of completing the Learning Agreement, contact the University International Relations Office. For questions concerning courses and course recognition, contact the relevant course instructors and the Department\u2019s ECTS coordinator.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n<details style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; border: 1px solid #ddd; border-radius: 8px; padding: 15px;\">\n<summary style=\"cursor: pointer; font-size: 18px; font-weight: 600; color: #b22222;\">3. Documents Required for the Grant Agreement<\/summary>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 15px;\">\n<p><strong>Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nTo prepare the grant agreement, the University must receive the letter of acceptance, the Learning Agreement with the exact dates, the IBAN of the student\u2019s current account and a copy of the European Health Insurance Card. The documents are submitted to the International Relations Office.<\/p>\n<div style=\"border: 1px solid #b22222; background: #fff5f5; border-radius: 8px; padding: 15px; margin: 15px 0;\">\n<p style=\"margin: 0;\"><strong>Document checklist:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin: 10px 0 0 20px;\">\n<li>letter of acceptance<\/li>\n<li>Learning Agreement for Studies with the exact dates of the mobility period<\/li>\n<li>IBAN of the student\u2019s current account<\/li>\n<li>copy of the European Health Insurance Card<\/li>\n<li>declaration of honour for green travel, if this allowance is used<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<details style=\"margin: 15px 0; border: 1px solid #ddd; border-radius: 6px; padding: 10px; background: #fafafa;\">\n<summary style=\"cursor: pointer; font-weight: 600; color: #b22222;\">Details<\/summary>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 10px;\">\n<p>Students planning to attend the winter semester beginning in early September should bear in mind that annual leave is generally taken from the end of July until the end of August. Documents should therefore be prepared and submitted by mid-July so that the grant agreement can be prepared in time.<\/p>\n<p>In summary, the University must receive the letter of acceptance, the Learning Agreement for Studies containing the exact dates of the mobility period (if the exact dates are not specified in the Learning Agreement, include them in the email used to submit all documents required for preparing the agreement), the IBAN of the student\u2019s current account and a copy of the European Health Insurance Card.<\/p>\n<p>If you are claiming the green travel allowance, the original signed declaration of honour must be submitted in person. Travel receipts are submitted after the mobility period.<\/p>\n<p>All documents should be submitted to Josipa Ple\u0161a at the International Relations Office: <a href=\"mailto:jplesa@unios.hr\">jplesa@unios.hr<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Based on these documents, the University International Relations Office will prepare the Erasmus+ grant agreement.<\/p>\n<p>The grant is paid in two instalments: 80% before the beginning of the mobility period, after the agreement has been signed, and 20% after returning from mobility and approval of the final report.<\/p>\n<p>You cannot begin the mobility period until you have signed the grant agreement with Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n<\/div>\n<\/details>\n<details style=\"margin-bottom: 20px; border: 1px solid #ddd; border-radius: 8px; padding: 15px;\">\n<summary style=\"cursor: pointer; font-size: 18px; font-weight: 600; color: #b22222;\">4. Health Insurance and Visa<\/summary>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 15px;\">\n<p><strong>Summary:<\/strong><br \/>\nStudents must have valid health insurance throughout the mobility period. A visa may be required in certain cases for countries outside the European Union, while special forms available from the Croatian Health Insurance Fund should be checked for countries in which the European Health Insurance Card is not valid.<\/p>\n<details style=\"margin: 15px 0; border: 1px solid #ddd; border-radius: 6px; padding: 10px; background: #fafafa;\">\n<summary style=\"cursor: pointer; font-weight: 600; color: #b22222;\">Details<\/summary>\n<div style=\"margin-top: 10px;\">\n<p><strong>Visa for travelling abroad:<\/strong> a visa must be obtained for mobility periods lasting longer than 90 days in countries that are not members of the European Union, such as North Macedonia and T\u00fcrkiye.<\/p>\n<p>If you are travelling to a country in which the European Health Insurance Card is not valid, such as T\u00fcrkiye or North Macedonia, you must check with the Croatian Health Insurance Fund whether the Republic of Croatia has concluded a social or health insurance agreement with that country and obtain the relevant form issued in your name for the duration of the mobility period.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: European Health Insurance Cards are linked to the academic year and are valid until 30 September, that is, until the end of the academic year. If you are undertaking mobility during the winter semester, you will submit the card valid until 30 September to the University International Relations Office and apply for a new card immediately after it expires. If you have already departed abroad, you can apply for it through the e-Citizens system and ask a family member or friend to send the new card to you by post. Once you receive it, you must send a scanned copy by email.<\/p>\n<p>You must have valid health insurance throughout your mobility period.
