In 2025, the fourth year of this project, the plan is to proofread all selected plays, systematize terminology and translations, edit the manuscript of the <em>Anthology<\/em> and write the forewords. The main research question of the project is how to approach the translation of American dramatic texts dealing with issues that are not widely represented in Croatia, such as race, sexual orientation, immigrants and health issues such as severe obesity. The question of appropriation also arises (and to what extent it should be used) in order to bring the source text and translation closer to Croatian audiences, particularly when the time of publication of the plays is taken into account, i.e. how best to present the text to a modern reader.
