Announced as a philosophical discussion on the contemporary relevance of the Enlightenment, with particular emphasis on Kant and Foucault, the colloquium revisited Kant\u2019s text \u201cAn Answer to the Question: What Is Enlightenment?\u201d, associated with the motto <em>Sapere aude!<\/em>, focusing on the question of whether it is still possible today to speak of emerging from self-incurred immaturity. The discussion also included Foucault\u2019s 1983 lecture, addressing issues related to security dispositifs, biopower and contemporary capitalism.
