The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek is organising enrolment for the Social and Emotional Learning in Education Programme<\/strong> in the 2024\/2025 academic year.<\/p>\n

Applications and enrolment for the 2024\/2025 cycle begin on 3 February 2025<\/strong> and end on 23 March 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The aim of the programme is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to implement social and emotional learning in education, that is, to develop social and emotional competencies and skills in children and adolescents. Social and emotional learning is a process through which children and adults acquire and apply the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary to understand and manage their own emotions and behaviour, set and achieve positive goals, establish and maintain quality social relationships, make sound decisions, and support other aspects of healthy and adaptive functioning in children and adults. The programme also aims to strengthen participants’ ability to cope with the challenges of educational work and to foster the positive development of children and young people.<\/p>\n

The programme is open to persons who have completed a four-year secondary school programme, undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate studies, regardless of their field of study. Persons who do not work in the education system are required to ensure that they are able to carry out the practical tasks, which they confirm by means of a statement included in the application form.<\/p>\n

The programme consists of 66 hours of instruction, comprising 30 hours of lectures and 36 hours of practical exercises.<\/p>\n

The following documents must be enclosed with the enrolment application:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. application form<\/a><\/li>\n
  2. a copy of the diploma (certification is not required).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    NOTE<\/strong>: In the application form, participants should indicate their preferred mode of instruction (in person at the Faculty, online, or no preference). The decision on the mode of instruction will be made based on the preferences expressed by participants after the application period has ended. Participants will then be informed of the mode of instruction and given the opportunity to decide whether they wish to continue with the programme.<\/p>\n

    The application documents should be sent by e-mail to the Programme Administrator, Ana Mihaljevi\u0107 (amihaljevic@ffos.hr).<\/p>\n

    The Programme fee is EUR 400.00. The fee also includes the issuance of a certificate of completion of the Social and Emotional Learning in Education Programme. The minimum number of participants is 6<\/strong>. If an insufficient number of participants enrol, the Programme will not be held in the current academic year.<\/p>\n

    The Programme fee is payable within 8 days after the invoice has been delivered to the participant\u2019s home\/e-mail address, to the IBAN of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences: HR8423600001102484368, payment reference number \u2013 the participant\u2019s OIB (Personal Identification Number) or the number stated on the invoice.<\/p>\n

    In the 2024\/2025 enrolment cycle, classes begin on 28 March 2025<\/strong>. Classes will be held on Fridays from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for 7 consecutive weeks.<\/p>\n
