On Wednesday, 1 April 2026, as part of the planned guest lectures at the Chair of Art History, a guest lecture was delivered by Prof. Dragan Damjanovi\u0107, PhD, from the Department of Art History at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb. The lecture was held as part of the course 20th-Century Art within the undergraduate study programme in Art History, in classroom 34, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. The lecture was attended by students enrolled in the third year of the undergraduate study programme in Art History. The topic of the lecture was modern architecture in the first half of the 20th century. As a leading Croatian expert in the history of 19th- and 20th-century architecture, Prof. Dragan Damjanovi\u0107, PhD, provided an overview of European and global architecture, as well as the most important Croatian examples, and presented a number of interesting details that helped shape the cultural, historical and political context of the emergence and development of modern architecture in Europe and America. The highly engaging and successfully delivered lecture was held as part of the curriculum of the course 20th-Century Art.<\/p>\n
