The volume will be presented by its editor <strong>Luka Peji\u0107<\/strong> and contributing authors <strong>Sla\u0111ana Josipovi\u0107 Batorek<\/strong> and <strong>Damir Sekuli\u0107<\/strong>. The discussion will be moderated by <strong>Franka Maslov<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Through sixteen articles, the volume examines the multiple effects of epidemics and pandemics on social relations and political practices in Croatia and around the world from the 18th century to the present day. The publication is the result of a one-year project of the same name and a scientific conference held at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek in April 2023. The authors of the published papers approach these issues from different perspectives, analysing selected topics primarily as historians, but also as philosophers, linguists and pedagogues.
