Students at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek are offered:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>elective courses that form part of study programmes<\/li>\n<li>Faculty elective courses<\/li>\n<li>University elective courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. Elective courses that form part of study programmes may also be offered:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>as University elective courses<\/li>\n<li>as Faculty elective courses, provided that their learning outcomes include the acquisition of generic skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>3. Faculty elective courses are elective courses whose learning outcomes include the acquisition of generic skills. They are included in the study implementation plan, in accordance with the prescribed level of study and order of delivery, at the initiative of the head of the department or the chair of an independent chair.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Faculty elective courses may be enrolled in:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>as additional elective courses after the required number of ECTS credits for the semester has already been enrolled in, where the student wishes to acquire additional knowledge<\/li>\n<li>as elective courses through which the required number of ECTS credits is obtained in accordance with the notes in the study implementation plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>5. University elective courses are elective courses offered to students of all University constituent units and may be selected regardless of the level of study (undergraduate \/ graduate), but in accordance with the prescribed order of delivery (summer and winter semester).<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. University elective courses may be enrolled in:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>as additional elective courses after the required number of ECTS credits for the semester has already been enrolled in, where the student wishes to acquire additional knowledge<\/li>\n<li>as elective courses through which the required number of ECTS credits is obtained in accordance with the notes in the study implementation plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>7. ECTS credits awarded for Faculty and University elective courses that are recognised as elective courses within the study programme in which the student is enrolled are included in the total number of ECTS credits earned by the student during the relevant cycle of study.<\/p>\n<p>8. This Decision shall enter into force on the date of its adoption and shall apply from the 2024\/2025 academic year.<\/p>\n<p>9. Upon the entry into force of this Decision, the Decision of the Faculty Council on Faculty Elective Courses (CLASS: 602-04\/19-03\/92, REG. NO.: 2158-83-02-19-1), adopted at the 9th session in the 2018\/2019 academic year, held on 3 July 2019 under item 11 of the agenda, shall cease to be valid.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Students are hereby informed of the Decision concerning the delivery of elective courses at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek, as set out below. 1.
