These scholarships are awarded as part of Croatian-French bilateral cooperation, and two scholarship programmes are available:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>scholarships for graduate studies or postgraduate professional development<\/li>\n<li>language scholarships.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The types of scholarships available for <strong>graduate studies and postgraduate professional development<\/strong> <strong>in France<\/strong> during the 2026\/2027 academic year are:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>ten-month scholarships for graduate studies in France<\/li>\n<li>one-month scholarships for postgraduate professional development in France.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Formal eligibility criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The scholarships are intended for citizens of the Republic of Croatia born after 31 December 1990.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Qualitative selection criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>the quality of the study plan and clearly defined objectives of the stay<\/li>\n<li>the impact of mobility and the importance of the stay in France for the candidate\u2019s professional development<\/li>\n<li>the impact of mobility on developing and strengthening cooperation between the candidate\u2019s home institution in Croatia and the host institution in France<\/li>\n<li>academic excellence<\/li>\n<li>proficiency in the foreign language in which the study programme or professional development takes place.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Knowledge of French is an advantage but is not a requirement for receiving a scholarship.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For detailed information on applying for this scholarship programme, please visit:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.croatie.campusfrance.org\/hr\/natjecaj-za-stipendije-francuske-vlade-20262027.\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>https:\/\/www.croatie.campusfrance.org\/hr\/natjecaj-za-stipendije-francuske-vlade-20262027<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>language scholarships<\/strong> offered to Croatian citizens for one-month programmes aimed at improving their French language proficiency are:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>scholarships for graduate students from all scientific fields<\/li>\n<li>one-month language scholarships for students of French Language and Literature.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The scholarships listed under item 2 are intended for first- or second-year graduate students of French Language and Literature at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, and the University of Zadar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For detailed information on applying for this scholarship programme, please visit:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.croatie.campusfrance.org\/hr\/natjecaj-za-jezicne-stipendije-vlade-francuske-republike-2026.\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>https:\/\/www.croatie.campusfrance.org\/hr\/natjecaj-za-jezicne-stipendije-vlade-francuske-republike-2026<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Interested candidates must apply for either scholarship programme by submitting their application documents electronically to both the Embassy of the French Republic and the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes.
