{"id":130362,"date":"2026-03-04T18:54:42","date_gmt":"2026-03-04T17:54:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ffos.unios.hr\/ziva-knjiznica-psihologija-u-praksi\/"},"modified":"2026-09-22T14:25:01","modified_gmt":"2026-09-22T12:25:01","slug":"living-library-psychology-in-practice","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ffos.unios.hr\/en\/living-library-psychology-in-practice\/","title":{"rendered":"Living Library &#8211; Psychology in Practice"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As part of Brain Awareness Week 2026, the Student Psychological Counselling Office is organising the event <strong><em>Living Library \u201cPsychology in Practice\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, intended for Psychology students who wish to gain a realistic insight into different professional paths within the field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event will be held on <strong>17 March 2026 at 5 p.m.<\/strong> in the Small Ceremonial Hall (Room 39) of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Living Library<\/em> is an interactive format in which students have the opportunity to \u201cborrow\u201d experts from different fields of work for ten minutes and, through individual conversations, learn more about their professional experience, challenges, and everyday work. The conversations take place through several rotations in smaller groups, encouraging open, direct, and informal dialogue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Participants will be able to speak with psychologists working in clinical and health psychology, within the healthcare system, organisational and HR psychology, school psychology, academic careers, the social welfare system, private and entrepreneurial practice, as well as work in children\u2019s homes and paediatrics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The aim of the event is to connect students with practitioners, bring them closer to the realities of the labour market and professional challenges, and provide support in making career decisions.
