The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Croatia to the UN, OSCE and International Organisations in Vienna (Permanent Mission of Croatia in Vienna) and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs announce an opportunity to undertake an Erasmus+ traineeship lasting six months.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Students will have the opportunity to become acquainted with and participate in the work of the Mission by following the activities of international organisations, including the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO), the Wassenaar Arrangement on Export Controls for Conventional Arms and Dual-Use Goods and Technologies (WA), the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA), and others.<\/p>\n

Overview of traineeship activities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Monitoring activities and reporting on meetings and conferences at the UN and other organisations<\/li>\n
  2. Participating in EU coordination meetings on matters discussed within international organisations<\/li>\n
  3. Assisting and supporting diplomats in their daily tasks<\/li>\n
  4. Assisting with the preparation of and participating in events organised by the Permanent Mission of Croatia<\/li>\n
  5. Performing other tasks as instructed by the head of the Mission\u2019s internal organisational unit to which the student is assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    – Proficiency in English
    \n– Student status throughout the Erasmus+ traineeship
    \n– Willingness to work in a team, good written and oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n

    The application must include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    – A motivation letter in Croatian
    \n– A CV in Croatian<\/p>\n

    Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Students must secure a scholarship by applying to their university\u2019s Erasmus+ traineeship call. The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs does not cover any expenses during the traineeship. Students are responsible for arranging and covering their own accommodation, transport and meals in Vienna.<\/em><\/p>\n

    The traineeship lasts six months, during one of the following periods:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    – From 1 March to 31 August 2027<\/em><\/p>\n

    – From 1 September 2027 to 29 February 2028<\/em><\/p>\n

    Please indicate your preferred period.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    <\/em>Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an (online<\/em>) interview.<\/em><\/p>\n
