scientific field of philology (branch of English studies), on a fixed-term and full-time basis at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>one employee to the Type III position of Head of an Organisational Unit (Head of the Office for Technical and Auxiliary Affairs) within the Secretariat of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek, <\/strong><strong>for an indefinite period and on a full-time basis<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All applicants must meet the general requirements prescribed by the Labour Act (Official Gazette Nos. 93\/14, 127\/17, 98\/19, 51\/22, 46\/23 and 64\/23).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Applicants for the position under item 1<\/strong> must meet the general requirements prescribed by Article 39, paragraph 6, and Article 40 of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (Official Gazette No. 119\/2022), Article 123, paragraph 4, and Article 124 of the Statute of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Article 47, paragraph 3, and Article 48 of the Statute of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek, as well as the requirements prescribed by Article 26 of the Regulations on the Implementation of the Procedure for Appointment\/Reappointment to Scientific-Teaching, Artistic-Teaching, Teaching, Associate and Professional Positions at Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Applicants for the position under item 1<\/strong> must submit their application together with the required supporting documentation using the prescribed application form, <strong>Form No. 4<\/strong> \u2013 for appointment to the associate position of Assistant, published on the style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Applicants for the position under item 1<\/strong> are required to submit their application and evidence of meeting the selection criteria in electronic form.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Applicants for the position under item 1<\/strong> who meet the formal requirements of the call and have submitted their application and evidence of meeting the selection criteria in electronic form must attend an assessment\/interview before the Committee, constituting the second stage of the selection procedure. They will be informed of the place and time of the assessment\/interview via the website of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek: www.ffos.unios.hr. Applicants who do not attend the assessment\/interview will be deemed to have withdrawn their application and will no longer be considered candidates in the selection procedure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Applicants for the position under item 2<\/strong> who meet the formal requirements of the call and have submitted the required documentation with their application must attend a written assessment\/interview before the Committee. They will be informed of the place and time of the written assessment\/interview via the Faculty\u2019s website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ffos.unios.hr\/en\/\">https:\/\/www.ffos.unios.hr\/<\/a><u>.<\/u> Applicants who do not attend the written assessment\/interview will be deemed to have withdrawn their application and will no longer be considered candidates in the selection procedure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Applicants for the position under item 2<\/strong> must, in addition to the general requirements prescribed by the Labour Act, meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>completed secondary education in a technical field (CROQF level 4.2)<\/li>\n<li>two years of work experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A description of the duties of the Head of the Office for Technical and Auxiliary Affairs is available on the Faculty\u2019s website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ffos.unios.hr\/en\/\">https:\/\/www.ffos.unios.hr\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Applicants for the position under item 2<\/strong> must enclose the following with their application:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>an application signed by hand<\/li>\n<li>a CV<\/li>\n<li>the original or a certified copy of their secondary school certificate (the copy may be certified by a notary public or by the institution that issued the certificate)<\/li>\n<li>a copy of an identification document<\/li>\n<li>an electronic record of insurance data issued by the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (electronic employment record), issued no earlier than the date of publication of this call<\/li>\n<li>proof of work experience (a copy of an employment contract, an employer\u2019s certificate stating the type of duties performed or previously performed and the duration of employment, references or similar documentation)<\/li>\n<li>a signed Consent Form (Form No. 9)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Applicants for the position under item 2<\/strong> must submit their application documentation in two (2) copies (one set must contain originals or certified copies of the documents, while the other set must consist exclusively of photocopies). Persons of all genders may apply under equal conditions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Applicants who claim the right to priority in employment under special regulations \u2013 the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette Nos. 121\/17, 98\/18 and 84\/21), Article 48 of the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (Official Gazette No. 84\/21), Article 48 of the Act on the Protection of Military and Civilian War Invalids (Official Gazette Nos. 33\/92, 57\/92, 77\/92, 27\/93, 58\/93, 2\/94, 76\/94, 108\/95, 108\/96, 82\/01, 103\/03, 148\/13 and 98\/19), and Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette Nos. 154\/13, 152\/14, 39\/18 and 32\/20) \u2013 must invoke this right in their application and enclose all evidence required under the relevant special regulations to exercise that right. Such applicants are entitled to priority in employment over other applicants only under equal conditions. For applicants invoking the right to priority in employment under the Act on Croatian Homeland War Veterans and Members of Their Families (Official Gazette Nos. 121\/17, 98\/18 and 84\/21) and the Act on Civilian Victims of the Homeland War (Official Gazette No. 84\/21), the list of evidence required to exercise this right is available on the website of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans: <a href=\"https:\/\/branitelji.gov.hr\/zaposljavanje-843\/843\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/branitelji.gov.hr\/zaposljavanje-843\/843<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Applicants invoking the right to priority in employment pursuant to Article 9 of the Act on Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities (Official Gazette Nos. 154\/13, 152\/14, 39\/18 and 32\/20) must invoke this right in their application and enclose all evidence of meeting the prescribed requirements, as well as proof of disability.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Only persons who meet the formal requirements of the call and submit a complete application within the prescribed deadline will be considered candidates. A complete application is one that contains all the information and supporting documents specified in this call and is signed by hand by the applicant. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The call for applications under item 1 is open for thirty (30) days from the date of publication.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The call for applications under item 2 is open for eight (8) days from the date of publication.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All applicants will be informed of the results of the selection procedure no later than fifteen (15) days after its completion.
