The research project Contribution of Branko Gavella’s Doctoral Dissertation to the Croatian Philosophical Heritage is an internal project of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek. The project focuses on the manuscript of Branko Gavella’s doctoral dissertation entitled Erkenntnis-theoretische Bedeutung des Urteils and its typescript translation prepared by Vladan Švacov and entitled Spoznajnoteorijsko značenje suda. The main objectives of the project are to transcribe Gavella’s doctoral dissertation, revise Švacov’s translation, prepare an introductory study, and establish Gavella’s place within the Croatian philosophical heritage. The project team consists of Hrvoje Potlimbrzović, PhD, as project leader, and Kristijan Gradečak, PhD, as project associate.
