Centre for Book and Reading

The Centre for Book and Reading was established in 2019 with the aim of encouraging and developing research into various aspects of books and reading and with the intention of intensifying research, teaching, professional and dissemination activities within the national and European research area. The Centre ceased its activities at the end of 2021.

The Centre’s activities included applications for research and professional projects, organisation of academic conferences, publication of scholarly, professional and popularisation papers, public lectures, workshops and round-table discussions, among other activities. The Centre supported the strengthening of research cooperation between and within the organisational units of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek, the involvement of students in research activities and improved cooperation with external stakeholders.
