A Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) is a form of blended mobility that combines physical mobility with a virtual component of collaborative online learning. The aim of the programme is to facilitate international cooperation, teamwork and interdisciplinary learning in an international environment.
The virtual component enables students from different countries and fields of study to participate jointly in online activities, courses and project assignments that are recognised as part of their study obligations.
Short-term and long-term mobility periods, including doctoral mobility, may also be undertaken in the form of blended mobility. The inclusion of a virtual component alongside physical mobility is particularly encouraged.
Students may participate in BIP programmes in accordance with the specific eligibility requirements defined by Erasmus+ rules and the Programme Guide.
More information about BIP programmes is available on the AMPEU website.
Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs) can also be found in external databases, such as the Erasmus BIP platform.
We also regularly publish available BIP mobility opportunities on the Erasmus+ Opportunities page here.
