INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek engages in a wide range of international cooperation activities:

  • » since 2022, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek has participated in the organisation and implementation of the international Bovec Summer School together with Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, the University of Ljubljana, the University of Primorska in Koper, the University of Rijeka, the University of Trieste and the University of Udine.

A significant portion of these activities is carried out through the individual memberships of Faculty employees in scientific and professional associations that promote interests related to the social sciences and humanities in their respective fields. Through these memberships, the Faculty indirectly contributes to the achievement of scientific, professional and other objectives that are also important to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek. Such associations include, for example, Societas Linguisticae Europae, European Society for Studies in English (ESSE), International Cognitive Linguistics Association, Croatian-American Society (HAD/CAS), Fulbright Association, U.S. Alumni Community of Croatia (USACC), Croatian-Canadian Academic Society (HKAD), Central European Association for Canadian Studies (CEACS), EUROPHRAS, European Society for Translation Studies (EST), International Pragmatics Association, European Second Language Association (EuroSLA), International Association of Paremiology (AIP-IAP), Nemzetközi Folklórlingvisztikai Kutatócsoport (International Research Group for Folklore and Linguistics), European Society for Studies in English (ESSE), TESOL, GPIC (TESOL), International Reading Association, American Society for Information Science and Technology, Südosteuropäischer Germanistenverband (SOEGV), Mitteleuropäischer Germanistenverband (MGV), and SCLA (Slavic Cognitive Linguistics Association).

Bilateral and Multilateral Cooperation Agreements

In addition to 34 bilateral Erasmus+ agreements regulating the international mobility of students, teaching staff and non-teaching staff, the Faculty has also signed other bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements:
