izv. prof. dr. sc. Draženka Molnar

Dr. Draženka Molnar, Associate Professor, was born in Osijek in 1974. She has worked at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek since 2004. She completed her primary and secondary education in Osijek. She graduated from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (formerly Faculty of Education) in Osijek in 1998 with a degree in English language and literature and German language and literature. In 2004 she was employed as a lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of  Foreign Languages and at the Faculty of Teacher Education. In 2013, she earned a PhD in Linguistics from the University of Osijek, Croatia. She was promoted to Associate Professor in 2025. Since 2005 she has been teaching methodology courses at graduate level. Her major interests include language acquisition, teacher training, cognitive linguistics and phraseology. She paritcipated in two international scientific projects. She has presented at 37  international scientific conferences in Croatia and abroad and has authored and co-authored 23 articles and a book chapter. She is a member of several professional associations: the Croatian Applied Linguistics Society, The Croatian Association for the Study of English, the International Association of Paremiology and Europhras.
