In order to protect and promote academic freedom, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek
- enables the free expression of ideas and research results
- encourages a creative atmosphere in teaching and research
- ensures the right to impartiality in assessments
- ensures that published research results are accurate, verified and reliable.
In order to ensure academic integrity and freedom, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek
- strongly condemns all forms of plagiarism in every area of its work, including the intentional use or reproduction of other persons’ ideas, texts and/or statements as one’s own
- condemns deliberate violations of academic integrity
- ensures the conscientious and responsible delivery of teaching and other teaching-related activities
- respects the dignity of students and teachers and the work they perform
- ensures that students are introduced to the concept of academic integrity through the teaching process and that they apply its principles
- ensures that study programmes include learning outcomes related to the application of academic ethics in the preparation of seminar papers, undergraduate and graduate theses, and doctoral dissertations.
