International Student Academic and Professional Conference

Organised by the Department of Croatian Language and Literature, the Chair of Literary Theory and World Literature, the Faculty for Montenegrin Language and Literature in Cetinje, Montenegro, students of Croatian Language and Literature and doctoral students enrolled in the doctoral study programme Literature and Cultural Identity at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek, as well as undergraduate, specialist, master’s and doctoral students of the Faculty for Montenegrin Language and Literature, the International Student Academic and Professional Conference Let Us Read the Classics 3 will take place on 23 April 2026, beginning at 10:15 a.m. in the Small Council Chamber (Room 39) of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and via the Zoom platform. In addition to current students, graduates of the Croatian Language and Literature study programme at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek and graduates of the Montenegrin Language and Literature study programme at the Faculty for Montenegrin Language and Literature in Cetinje, Montenegro, will also present at the conference. The conference is divided into two sessions: the first will focus on the life and work of Ivo Andrić, while the second will address classics of world literature and notable works and authors of Croatian and Montenegrin literature. More than 30 presenters are expected to participate.
