We are proud to announce that Matej Gabud, our student of Croatian and English Language and Literature, is the recipient of the 2025 Na vrh jezika Award for the best poetry manuscript by an author under the age of 35. Matej’s acclaimed debut collection Ameba amebi (Lux Noctis, 2024) was presented at our Faculty in November 2024, when we had the opportunity to discover his exceptional talent and the unique sensibility of his confessional verse, in which fragility and strength intertwine as defining features of the contemporary subject.
