Invitation to Participate in a Short-Term Exchange in Timișoara, Romania, from 19 to 23 October 2026
All students of German Language and Literature who have a command of German at B1 level or higher according to the CEFR are invited to apply for short-term mobility within the BIP “Sprachliche und kulturelle Vielfalt im Banat: Geschichte und Gegenwart”.
By participating in the BIP, you can expect:
– an international exchange experience
– interactive lectures by experts
– interdisciplinary workshops on language, literature, and memory culture
– work with authentic materials
– group work in an international environment
– participation in research according to your own interests
By participating in the BIP, students will:
– become familiar with the complexity of linguistic diversity and the regional culture of Banat and neighbouring regions
– gain awareness of the effects of multilingualism and the relationship between identity and cultural memory
– improve their intercultural competences and teamwork skills
– improve their presentation skills in an international environment
Participation in the BIP entitles students to 3 ECTS credits.
