Based on an initiative launched by the German Studies departments in 2024, the fourth networking meeting of German Studies students from the Universities of Osijek and Pécs took place on 23 March 2026. Eight students and five teachers from the University of Pécs were warmly welcomed by our students, Professor Ivana Jozić, PhD, and the OeAD and DAAD lecturers at FFOS.
The main focus was on networking among students through a joint group task. In the morning, our guests were shown the city of Osijek and places popular with students, and the participants created a video contribution about them in German.
After lunch at the student cafeteria, we set out together to explore German traces in the city of Osijek and visited the German Community in Osijek. Afterwards, the students presented at FFOS the video contributions they had created that morning.
We look forward to continuing this exchange, which has now been taking place for two years, in the next academic year as well. The programme was funded by the DAAD.
