Due to the unfavourable weather conditions forecast for tomorrow, and in order to ensure a pleasant, safe and enjoyable gathering for everyone, we have decided to postpone the cycling tour.
The new date for the cycling tour is: Sunday, 12 April 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
The location and programme remain unchanged.
We are sorry for the change of plans, but we believe that the new date will allow us to enjoy an even better gathering and a more pleasant ride for all participants.
We would like to remind you that the cycling tour is organised in support of the national campaign “I Want to Read Too”, with the aim of raising awareness of people with dyslexia and reading difficulties, as well as promoting mental health, physical activity and a sense of community.
We look forward to cycling together, spending time together and supporting this important initiative.

On Saturday, 28 March 2026, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek will organise a cycling tour along the Osijek – Kopački Rit route.
This year’s cycling tour is once again being organised in support of the Croatian Library Association’s national campaign for people with reading difficulties and dyslexia, “I Want to Read Too”. All interested students, pupils, teachers and members of the public are welcome to participate.
Refreshments will be provided for all participants who register by 27 March 2026.

Departure is at 10:00 a.m. from the car park of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (L. Jägera 9), with the return planned for around noon. The route is not demanding, as it follows the embankment along the Drava River, and can also be completed by people who do not cycle regularly.
Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult, while participants under the age of 16 are required to wear a protective helmet. In the event of bad weather, the cycling tour will be postponed to a more suitable weekend.
This year’s cycling tour, the seventh edition, is organised by the Centre for Mental Health and Physical Activity at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek, the Libros Information Sciences Student Club and the Psihos Psychology Student Club, in cooperation with SUVAG Polyclinic Osijek, the City and University Library Osijek, the Association of Librarians of Slavonia, Baranja and Srijem, the Osijek branch of the Croatian Reading Association, and the City Association for Sports Recreation “Sport for All”.
