The International Interdisciplinary 1st Congress of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek: “Interdisciplinarity in Theory and Practice” will be held on 4 and 5 November 2021. The Congress is organised by the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek and the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, while the event is supported by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, the City of Osijek and Osijek-Baranja County.
The Congress will be held in a hybrid format, both remotely via the online platform Zoom and in person in the Small Conference Hall of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (room 39), from which the lectures will also be streamed via Zoom. Our first Congress will bring together forty-four participants from four countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, China and Mexico), including researchers, postdoctoral researchers and students from various fields of science and the arts. Presentations will be held in the two official languages of the Congress: Croatian and English. A book of abstracts has been printed as accompanying material and has also been published in an online version.
