The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek and its Centre for Interdisciplinary Research invite you to the International Interdisciplinary 3rd Congress of the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek: “Society, Science and Art in the (Post)Digital Age” (INTER_CON 2023). The Congress will be held from 8 to 10 November 2023 in a hybrid format, specifically in the Small Conference Hall of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (room 39) and via the Zoom platform (https://us06web.zoom.us/j/84929933694?pwd=2tjJDtbzL0LMuz06HkLns43GD8wuyH.1). This year’s Congress is co-organised by the Centre for Scientific Work in Vinkovci of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
INTER_CON 2023 brings together 68 participants from nine countries (Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, India, China, Slovakia, Slovenia, Russia and the United States). This year’s programme also includes four plenary lectures to be delivered by: Nancy J. Nersessian from the United States (8 November at 4:15 p.m.), Michael H. G. Hoffmann, also from the United States (9 November at 3:00 p.m.), Ravindra Kumar Singh Choudhary from India (10 November at 9:00 a.m.) and Petar Jandrić from Croatia (10 November at 4:00 p.m.).
The Congress programme also includes the following activities: an exhibition of posters for scientific inter_view (8 November at 5:30 p.m.), a presentation of the proceedings Challenges of Education (9 November at 5:30 p.m.), which brings together papers based on presentations delivered at last year’s Congress, a workshop for students on socially engaged performances (9 November at 6:30 p.m.) and a panel discussion on opportunities for cooperation between civil society organisations, science and the arts (10 November at 10:15 a.m.).
