Enrolment in and Withdrawal from Faculty Elective Courses

Sub-department of Common Courses

Our Faculty offers students the opportunity to enrol in *Faculty elective courses* *that are not part of the study implementation plans*.

Heads or chairs of organisational units coordinate enrolment in and withdrawal from elective courses that are part of the study implementation plans, while ECTS coordinators do so for Faculty elective courses that are not.

Enrolment in and withdrawal from Faculty elective courses that are not part of the study implementation plans is carried out according to the following procedure:

*1.* Faculty elective courses *that are not part of the study implementation plans* are enrolled in accordance with the *Decision on Elective Courses at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek* (Decision on Elective Courses):

  • as elective courses through which the required number of ECTS credits is obtained *only if this is stated in the Department’s note in the study implementation plan*
  • as elective courses through which the student earns additional ECTS credits – *in addition to the required number of ECTS credits already enrolled in*

*2.* the student submits a request for enrolment in Faculty elective courses that are not part of the study implementation plans *by e-mail* to the ECTS coordinators of the organisational units responsible for the student’s study programmes

*3.* the ECTS coordinators verify whether the request is justified in relation to the semester/annual ECTS credits specified in the study implementation plan and the Decision on Elective Courses at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek

*4.* if enrolment is justified and acceptable according to the above criteria, the ECTS coordinator informs Suzana Perić Stivi at [spericstivi@ffos.hr](mailto:spericstivi@ffos.hr) that the student may be enrolled in the course.

According to the Regulations on Studies and Studying, *elective courses may be dropped/enrolled in during the first two weeks of classes, i.e. from 23 February to 6 March.*
