published on 31 July 2026 are hereby informed that the interview with candidates who have achieved the right to proceed to the second level of selection will be held on 7 September 2026 (Monday) in Room 91 of the Faculty (attic) in the morning.
Candidates will receive information about the interview schedule via e-mail.

A CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
for the selection of
- one employee for a new position of the first type – an associate position of senior assistant in the scientific field of humanities, scientific field of philology (scientific branch: theory and history of literature – English literature), for a fixed-term full-time position at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek
- one employee for a new position of the first type – an associate position of senior assistant in the scientific field of social sciences, scientific field of pedagogy, for a fixed-term full-time position at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek
All candidates applying for the call must meet the general requirements prescribed by the Labour Act (“Official Gazette” No. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22, 46/23 and 64/23).
Candidates applying for the call must meet the general requirements prescribed by Article 39, paragraph 7 of the Act on Higher Education and Scientific Activity (“Official Gazette” No. 119/2022), Article 123, paragraph 5 of the Statute of Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Article 54 of the Statute of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek, and the requirements prescribed by Article 29 of the Regulations on the Implementation of the Procedure for Selection/Re-election to Scientific-Teaching, Artistic-Teaching, Teaching, Associate and Professional Positions at Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek.
Candidates applying for the call submit their application with the mandatory documentation according to the prescribed application form Form No. 5 – for selection to the associate position of senior assistant, published on the Faculty website (link: https://www.ffos.unios.hr/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/Obrazac-5.pdf).
Candidates applying for the call who meet the formal requirements and have submitted their application and evidence of meeting the criteria in electronic form are required to participate in testing/interview before the Committee, i.e. the second level of the selection procedure. Candidates will be informed about the place and time of the testing/interview via the website of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek: www.ffos.unios.hr. Candidates who do not attend the testing/interview will be considered to have withdrawn their application and will not be considered candidates in the call.
Candidates applying for the call are required to submit their application and evidence of meeting the criteria in electronic form.
All candidates applying for the call are required to submit a completed and signed Consent Form (Form No. 9) published on the Faculty website: https://www.ffos.unios.hr/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Obrazac-Privole.pdf
Persons of both genders may apply for the call under equal conditions. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.
Only persons who submit a timely and complete application and meet the formal requirements of the call will be considered candidates.
A complete application is considered an application containing all information and attachments specified in this call and personally signed by the candidate submitting the application.
The call is open for thirty (30) days from the date of publication.
All candidates will be informed about the results of the call no later than fifteen (15) days after the selection procedure has been completed via the website of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek: www.ffos.unios.hr. The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek reserves the right to notify all applicants via e-mail as well.
