On 17 March 2026, Marko Marincel, MA in Psychology and Human Resources Director at Factory, gave a guest lecture entitled “The Psychologist in an Organisation (How We Apply Social Psychology in an Organisational Setting)”.
The lecture was intended for first-year students of the single-major university graduate study programme in Psychology. Students learned about the possibilities of applying social psychology in a company that is unique in operating exclusively in a digital environment in the post-pandemic period. They had the opportunity to learn about the importance of work roles, company norms, attitudes, leadership and social influence in an organisational setting. Through an interactive lecture, Marincel, who is also an alumnus of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek, shared his experiences with students on these and other important topics. Using activities based on realistic scenarios, the guest lecturer encouraged students to connect and apply their knowledge of social psychology in an organisational context. Marincel’s lecture also served an important motivational purpose, as he provided future psychologists with an example of how to actively and entrepreneurially create career opportunities based on psychological knowledge and an understanding of labour market needs.
