Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek – Research Serving the Community and Preserving National Identity

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek conducts research focused on fundamental knowledge about individuals and society that is essential for the sustainable development of society, education, understanding humanity, national identity and distinctiveness, preserving Croatian values, linguistic specificities and identity in the European context, with particular emphasis on research into the Croatian language, literature, history and culture, as well as understanding and addressing social processes and risks brought about by new technologies and the social order. The results of this research are placed at the service of the community, thus contributing to improving the quality of life and preserving national identity, literary heritage and cultural heritage.
