Nominations for initiating the procedure for granting the awards may be submitted by universities and their constituent units, universities of applied sciences, public research institutes, the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts, other legal entities engaged in scientific research activities, as well as groups of distinguished researchers.
The nomination must be submitted with complete documentation in one printed copy. As an exception, printed books that are not available in electronic form must be submitted in three copies. Nominations should be sent to the following address: Ministry of Science, Education and Youth, Directorate for Science and Technology, Donje Svetice 38, Zagreb, with the relevant scientific field clearly indicated.
The call is open from 8 May 2026 until 12 June 2026.
