The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic and the Italian Cultural Institute in Zagreb invite applications for scholarships offered by the Italian Republic for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The scholarships are awarded for study, scientific research, and professional development at Italian public and private universities. Croatian citizens may apply for the following scholarships:
1. scholarships for graduate studies
2. scholarships for undergraduate and graduate studies in the arts
3. scholarships for postgraduate doctoral studies
4. scholarships for research stays
5. language scholarships.
Recipients of the scholarships listed under points 1, 2, 3, and 4 are entitled to a total amount of EUR 10,800.00, paid by the Italian side during a nine-month stay in Italy.
Interested candidates must apply for a scholarship via the online application system on the “Universitaly” portal, where they must upload the required application documents no later than 26 March 2026 at 14:00.
