During 2022, two series of the popular science programme scientific inter_view were organized by the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, as part of the FUZ&JA science popularization project of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek.
In the first half of the year, the third scientific inter_view popular science series was held, focusing on the topic of interdisciplinarity. The series addressed the role of interdisciplinarity in the protection of children and young people, research into the history of education, challenges in translation, and sociological research on sexuality. Participants in the third series were Professor Gordana Buljan Flander, PhD, Dinko Župan, PhD, Ana Brezovac and Professor Aleksandar Štulhofer, PhD.
In the second half of the year, the fourth scientific inter_view popular science series continued the dialogue with distinguished experts from various scientific, cultural and public fields. Guests in the fourth series included Julijana Mladenovska-Tešija, Professor Leo Rafolt, PhD, Ratko Martinović and Professor Tomislav Globan, PhD.
The events held during 2022 further strengthened the programme’s focus on interdisciplinary connections, the popularization of science, and opening up topics relevant to the academic community and the wider public.
