The Bavarian Academic Center for Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe (BAYHOST) invites applications for scholarships of the Free State of Bavaria for the 2027/2028 academic year.
The scholarships are awarded within the framework of Croatian-Bavarian bilateral cooperation, and Croatian citizens are offered one-year scholarships for master’s study programmes and doctoral studies at Bavarian universities.
Scholarship recipients are entitled to financial support in the amount of EUR 992.00, which is paid monthly during their stay in Bavaria. One-year scholarships may be extended twice, for a maximum duration of three years.
In addition to master’s and doctoral studies, funding is also available for a one-year research stay at one of the Bavarian universities for candidates enrolled in doctoral studies at higher education institutions in the Republic of Croatia.
Interested candidates shall submit their scholarship applications through the electronic application system no later than 1 December 2026.
