A CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
for the selection of
- one employee to a general, other Type IV position – cleaner in the Office for Technical and Auxiliary Affairs within the professional-administrative organisational unit of the Secretariat of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek, for a fixed term of six (6) months and on a part-time basis (75% of full working hours).
All applicants must meet the general requirements stipulated by the Labour Act (“Official Gazette” Nos. 93/14, 127/17, 98/19, 151/22, 46/23 and 64/23).
Applicants must, in addition to the general requirements stipulated by the Labour Act, meet the following requirement:
- completed primary education (CROQF level 1)
A description of the duties of the Type IV position – cleaner is available on the Faculty’s website at https://www.ffos.unios.hr/.
Applicants are required to submit the following documents with their application:
- curriculum vitae
- original or certified copy of the certificate (the certified copy may be certified by a notary public or by the institution that issued the certificate)
- copy of an identification document
- electronic record of insurance data issued by the Croatian Pension Insurance Institute (electronic employment record), not older than the date of publication of this Call for Applications
Applicants are required to submit the documentation in two copies.
Applicants who meet the formal requirements of the Call for Applications and have submitted the required documentation with their application must attend a written test/interview before the Committee. They will be informed about the place and time of the written test/interview via the Faculty’s website https://www.ffos.unios.hr/. Applicants who fail to attend the written test/interview will be deemed to have withdrawn their application and will no longer be considered applicants in the Call for Applications.
All applicants are required to submit a completed and signed Consent Form (Form 9), published on the Faculty’s website: https://www.ffos.unios.hr/o-nama/dokumenti.
Persons of both sexes may apply under equal conditions. Only persons who submit a timely and complete application and meet the formal requirements of the Call for Applications shall be considered applicants.
An application shall be considered complete if it contains all information and attachments specified in this Call for Applications and is personally signed by the applicant who submitted it. Late and incomplete applications will not be considered.
If an applicant is entitled to priority in employment pursuant to a special law, they are required to invoke this right in their application, enclose documents proving the status on the basis of which they exercise the right of priority, a certificate issued by the Croatian Employment Service during the period in which this Call for Applications is open as proof of unemployment status, and evidence showing how their employment relationship with their most recent employer was terminated. Priority over other applicants may be exercised only under equal conditions. Applicants who are foreign nationals are required to submit, together with their application, proof of Croatian language proficiency in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (B2 level).
The Call for Applications is open for eight (8) days from the date of publication.
All applicants will be notified of the results of the Call for Applications no later than fifteen (15) days after the completion of the candidate selection procedure via the website of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek, www.ffos.unios.hr.
The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek reserves the right to notify all applicants by email as well.

By applying to the Call for Applications, the applicant gives consent for all personal data contained in the application documentation to be collected and processed for the purpose of conducting the Call for Applications in accordance with the regulations governing the protection of personal data, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation). Applicants are required to submit a signed Consent Form, and if they fail to do so, their application for the Call for Applications will be considered incomplete.
