It is our pleasure to invite you to the 1st International Scientific Conference “From the History of Education: Education and Pedagogy Between the Two World Wars”, which will be held in Osijek on 10 and 11 September 2026, organised by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, and the Croatian Institute of History – Department for the History of Slavonia, Srijem and Baranja.
We invite scholars, researchers and experts in the fields of history, pedagogy, education, sociology, philosophy, didactics and related disciplines to contribute to the exploration of this important topic through their presentations.
Please submit your presentation abstract to izpovijestiskolstva@gmail.com by 15 May 2026.
Presentations in Croatian and English are welcome, and participation will be possible either in person at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek or online.
Full papers are planned to be published in a conference proceedings volume, with further information to be provided to interested authors after the Conference.
