Every year, the German Bundestag invites several highly qualified and politically engaged young people from Croatia to participate in the International Parliamentary Scholarship of the German Bundestag (IPS). The core of the programme is a three-month internship in the office of a Member of the German Bundestag, during which scholarship holders gain valuable insight into the parliamentary work of the Bundestag.
The IPS programme also includes academic events at universities in Berlin and at political foundations, as well as networking with approximately 120 other IPS participants from 50 countries.
The 2027 programme begins on 1 March 2027 and ends on 31 July 2027. The application deadline is 31 July 2026.
Application requirements: born after 1 March 1997, completed university degree, political/civic/social engagement and interest, and very good knowledge of German (at least level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
