The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek is organising a new enrolment period for the Programme for Acquiring Pedagogical Competences for Vocational Teachers and Teaching Assistants (PKSUN) in the 2026/2027 academic year, intended for professionals who, upon employment in vocational education institutions, are legally required to acquire pedagogical competences.
The Programme may be enrolled in by:
- a) applicants who have completed a university undergraduate study programme or a professional study programme of the appropriate type
- b) applicants who have completed at least secondary vocational education of the appropriate profile
- c) applicants who have completed the appropriate secondary education.
Each individual course included in the curriculum of the Programme for Acquiring Pedagogical Competences for Vocational Teachers and Teaching Assistants carries ECTS credits, which means that upon completing the Programme, participants earn 60 ECTS credits in the field of pedagogical competences (Vocational Education Act (Official Gazette, Nos. 30/09, 24/10, 22/13, 25/18, 69/22), Primary and Secondary School Education Act (Official Gazette, Nos. 87/08, 86/09, 92/10, 105/10, 90/11, 5/12, 16/12, 86/12, 94/13, 136/14, 152/14, 7/17, 68/18, 98/19, 64/20 and 151/22)).
Participants complete the Programme for Acquiring Pedagogical Competences for Vocational Teachers and Teaching Assistants by successfully passing examinations in all courses prescribed by the curriculum.

During enrolment, participants may choose one of the following two options:
1) attending classes in person
2) attending classes via the distance learning system (online).
Once all applicants have applied and enrolled, the mode of class attendance will be determined according to the option selected by the majority of participants.
Through this application and e-mail, all interested applicants may apply for and enrol in the Programme for Acquiring Pedagogical Competences for Vocational Teachers and Teaching Assistants. Applications and enrolment for the 2026/2027 cycle begin on 4 May 2026 and end on 11 September 2026, after which the online enrolment application will be closed. All interested applicants may apply and enrol within this period through the online enrolment application. Late enrolment will not be possible.
After an application is received, the Office for Lifelong Learning will process the submitted information and notify the applicant of the status of their application by e-mail. Applicants enrol in PKSUN through this application after receiving confirmation that they have correctly entered all required information and submitted the required documents. An application is considered complete only after the participant has entered and submitted all required and fully correct information and documents through the online application. The enrolment result will be visible after the Office for Lifelong Learning has processed the applicant’s application.
Classes are organised at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek and through the distance learning system (online) in real time on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., according to the class schedule.

The Programme fee is EUR 1,100.00 and may be paid in five instalments. The fee also includes the issuance of a certificate confirming completion of the Programme for Acquiring Pedagogical Competences for Vocational Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
Payment of the Programme fee:
- instalment of EUR 220.00 by 15 October 2026
- instalment of EUR 220.00 by 30 November 2026
- instalment of EUR 220.00 by 31 December 2026
- instalment of EUR 220.00 by 28 February 2027
- instalment of EUR 220.00 by 15 April 2027
The Programme fee is payable upon receipt of an invoice sent to the participant’s home / e-mail address, by the due date of each individual instalment, to the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences IBAN: HR8423600001102484368, payment reference number – the participant’s OIB or the number stated on the invoice.
In the 2026/2027 enrolment cycle, classes begin on 19 September 2026 at 9:00 a.m. The class schedule will be published on the PKSUN website before the beginning of classes and sent to all enrolled participants by e-mail.
On 19 September 2026 at 8:30 a.m., a welcome session for all participants will be organised via the distance learning system (online). All enrolled participants will be informed in due time by e-mail about how to log in to the online system.
