Notice on the First Enrolment Period in the 2024/2025 Academic Year
The programme will not be held in the winter semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.
The aim of the Programme is to provide participants with professional development in the field of computational thinking and programming, with implementation in the Python programming language. Upon completion of the Programme, participants will be able to apply appropriate components of the programming language to decomposed problems in order to arrive at solutions, use Python programming language syntax when developing programs, use the Turtle module to visually present solutions, develop programs as solutions to given problems, design individual assignments and team projects, and lead a team during project development.
The Programme is intended for primary and secondary school teachers, as well as participants who are not yet employed in the education system but wish to develop the competencies required to teach computer science in primary and secondary schools. The Programme is open to persons who have completed at least an undergraduate degree in any field.
The Programme awards 10 ECTS credits.
The Programme consists of 60 hours of instruction, comprising 20 hours of lectures and 40 hours of practical exercises. Classes are held in person and/or online in the (virtual) classrooms of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek.

The Programme fee is EUR 465.00. The fee also includes the issuance of a certificate of completion of the Computational Thinking and Python Programming Programme. The minimum number of participants is 5. If an insufficient number of participants enrol, the Programme will not be held in the current academic year.
The Programme fee is payable within 8 days after the invoice has been delivered to the participant’s home/e-mail address, to the IBAN of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences: HR8423600001102484368, payment reference number – the participant’s OIB (Personal Identification Number) or the number stated on the invoice.
