Participation of Students in the 2nd International CALT Conference: Creative Approaches to Learning and Teaching

On Friday and Saturday, 17 and 18 April 2026, first-year students of the University Graduate Double Major Study Programme in Pedagogy, Lorena Zeks, Petra Štrk and Lucija Plivelić, under the mentorship of Senior Teaching Assistant Katarina Bogatić, PhD, participated in the 2nd International CALT Conference entitled “Creative Approaches to Learning and Teaching”. The conference was organised by the Faculty of Education, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek.

The students participated in the conference as part of an extracurricular activity, while the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences covered the costs of their participation, with the aim of encouraging student engagement in scientific and professional work and the dissemination of research findings.
As part of the Student Forum, the students presented a paper entitled “Hidden Worlds: Imagination as a Bridge to Children’s Meaning-Making”, presenting the results of research conducted as part of the elective course Research with Children.

Student Laura Zgorelec also participated in conducting the research.
