First-year graduate students of Psychology Marija Ćurić and Tatjana Djedović actively participated in the 25th Days of Psychology conference, organised by the Department of Psychology at the University of Zadar from 21 to 23 May 2026.
They participated with a paper entitled “Social Support and Perceived Control over Life as Predictors of Positive Mental Health”. The paper presents the results of research in the field of health psychology conducted by the students as an extracurricular activity under the mentorship of Professor Gorka Vuletić.
In addition to presenting their paper, their participation included attending the workshop “Between Reality and Filters: The Relationship Between Exposure to Filtered Instagram Photos and Body Image Among Adolescent Girls”, as well as oral presentations in the developmental psychology section (“The Relationship Between Romantic Experiences, Depression and Loneliness in Adolescence”, “What Are We Looking for on Tinder? The Relationship Between Motives for Use and Internalising Problems Among Young Adults”) and the work and organisational psychology section (“Employee Motivation and Work Engagement in a Heterogeneous Work Environment: A Case Study”, “From Personality Profiles to Leadership Styles”).
