On Thursday, 30 April 2026, Luka Pejić’s new book In the Anarchists’ Camp: The Life of Ivan Zepp was presented at the Nova Bookshop Club. In addition to the author, the book was discussed by its reviewer, historian Nikola Tomašegović, and historian Ana Rajković Pejić. The discussion was moderated by doctoral student Valentina Kezić. The speakers reflected on the characteristics of anarchist activism in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, as well as the authorities’ attitudes towards such movements. Particular emphasis was placed on contemporary historiographical approaches, especially history from below, which enables the reconstruction of the experiences of politically marginalised individuals such as Ivan Zepp.
