Our Department of German Language and Literature welcomed third-year students from the General Grammar School in Daruvar, who visited the Department on Wednesday, 18 March 2026, accompanied by their teachers as part of a German language field trip.
The visit began with an informative session during which the students had the opportunity to learn more about the Faculty and the work of the Department. They were introduced to study opportunities as well as various forms of international mobility and scholarships, including DAAD and OeAD programmes and Erasmus+ mobility opportunities.
The second part of the programme featured an engaging interactive pub quiz designed and hosted by students of the Department, Marijana Jugović and Petar Bogdanović, which further encouraged the pupils’ interest in the German language and culture.
The visit concluded with participation in informal round-table discussions, during which the pupils had the opportunity to talk with students of the Department. Through these conversations, they gained a closer insight into the study programme, everyday student life, and the experience of studying, providing them with a valuable glimpse into academic life at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek.
