Sharing Our Experiences at the Webinar “Libraries in the Digital Transformation of Education – Their Role and Examples of Good Practice”

As part of Open Education Week, on Monday, 9 March 2026 at 2:00 p.m., SRCE will organise the webinar Libraries in the Digital Transformation of Education – Their Role and Examples of Practice, at which the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek will have the opportunity to present its work.
The webinar aims to highlight the importance of libraries in education in the digital age, with particular emphasis on their support for contemporary teaching and learning models. The topics will range from access to digital content, books, textbooks, and various open-access databases, through the development of digital competencies required for successful participation in a modern educational environment, to support for innovative forms of teaching and learning.
Representatives of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek—Kristina Kiš, Head of the Library, and Assoc. Prof. Sonja Novak, PhD—will present examples of cooperation between librarians and teaching staff at the Faculty in research and teaching.
