We invite undergraduate and graduate students to submit abstracts for the ASK Student English Conference 2026, titled “ASK: Voices Through Time.” The conference will take place in Pula, Croatia, on May 7th, 2026, and will bring together students interested in exploring how voices, narratives, and perspectives evolve across time in literature, language, culture, and related fields.
We welcome submissions from students working in English studies, linguistics, literature, cultural studies, translation, media studies, and other related disciplines. Possible topics may include—but are not limited to—historical and contemporary voices in literature, language change, reinterpretations of classical texts, cultural memory, storytelling across generations, translation across time, and emerging voices in modern media.
Each presentation will be 15 minutes long, followed by a short discussion.
Submission Guidelines
- Submit an abstract of approximately 200 words.
- Clearly state the research topic, methodology, and main argument or research question.
