Jasna Poljak Rehlicki is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Osijek. She teaches undergraduate courses in twentieth- and twenty-first-century American literature and courses in American literature to PhD students. Her research interests focus on war literature, American myth, American drama, and broader aspects of American history, culture, and society. She spent a year in the United States as a Fulbright visiting researcher in Portland, Oregon. She is the co-editor of two books (Facing the Crises: Anglophone Literature in the Postmodern World (2014) and What’s Past is Prologue: Essays in Honour of Boris Berić’s 65th Birthday (2020)) and the author of Voices of a Nation: American Literature from Modernism to Present (2025). She is Head of the English and American Literature Sub-department and Head of the Center for North American Studies.
