We are thrilled to invite you to the 1st ASK Conference, “From Sound to Stories: A Linguistic Expedition,” which will take place in the beautiful city of Pula from April 11 to 14, 2025. This exciting event, entirely organized by students for students, aims to create a vibrant space for English language and literature students to come together, share ideas, and explore the fascinating world of linguistics.At our conference, we welcome you to showcase your insights and creativity! We invite all students to apply to speak by submitting their abstracts for presentations in our engaging workshops:

1. Applied Linguistics
2. Psycholinguistics
3. Linguistic Activism
4. Literary Linguistics

Each workshop will feature respected professors from the University of Pula who will present thought-provoking topics to enrich our discussions. The attached files provide more details about their presentations.

Your presentation should last between 10 and 15 minutes. After the presentation, there will be 5 5-minute discussion about your work. When you apply, please provide us with an abstract.

The workshops will be hosted at the Faculty of Economics and Tourism Pula (FET) in the lovely Pula Hall. Best of all, there is no registration fee to participate, making this a fantastic opportunity for personal and professional growth!Please note that we have a limited capacity of 30 external students for accommodation and meals. Accommodations are provided at the Antique Hostel, with meals courtesy of the Pula Student Centre. Additional information about accommodations can be found in the attachment.
