Tanja Gradečak predaje nekoliko lingvističkih kolegija na Odsjeku za engleski jezik Filozofskog fakulteta od 2000. godine, a od 2011. godine predaje nekoliko kolegija na doktorskom studiju Jezikoslovlje na istom fakultetu. Na Odsjeku za cjeloživotno učenje predaje program Akademsko pisanje na engleskom jeziku.

Članica je uredništva akademskog časopisa Jezikoslovlje, a od 2012. godine suurednica je međunarodnog lingvističkog časopisa ExELL. Članica je nekoliko lingvističkih udruga, poput Hrvatskog društva za primijenjenu lingvistiku, Hrvatskog društva nastavnika engleskog jezika (HUPE), Međunarodnog udruženja kognitivne lingvistike (ICLA) i ESSE-a (Europskog društva za proučavanje engleskog jezika).

Područje njezina interesa je pragmatika, kognitivna lingvistika, metafora i metonimija u uokviravanju javnog diskursa, eufemizacija i istraživanje lingvističkog krajolika.

Tanja Gradečak has been teaching several linguistic courses at the Department of English, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences since 2000, and since 2011 she has been teaching several courses at the PhD programme in Linguistics at the same faculty. At the Long Life Learning department she teaches the programme in Academic Writing in English.

She is a member of the editorial board of the academic journal Jezikoslovlje and since 2012 she has been a co-editor of the international linguistic journal ExELL (Explorations in English Language and Linguistics). She is a member of several linguistic associations, such as Croatian Association for Applied Linguistics, Croatian Association of Teachers of English (HUPE), International Cognitive Linguistics Association (ICLA), ESSE (The European Society for the Study of English).

Her field of interest lies in pragmatics, cognitive linguistics, metaphor and metonymy in framing public discourse, euphemisation and linguistic landscape research.
